🕒 Day of Closing

Step 1: Review and Pre-sign documents 

• On the day of the signing from midnight to 30 minutes prior to the appointment, each signer can access their documents in their Rocket account portal to review and pre-sign. 

• 30 minutes prior to the appointment, you will be able to access the ClearSign closing room through the link in your Rocket account portal and begin your closing session.

• If you do not see your documents or link to start, please check your spam/junk folder or reach out to your lender.

Step 2: Technology Check

• You will need to give your device permission to use your web camera and microphone.  Click here to test your technology. Complete this step early to avoid delays.  If you have any technical difficulties at the time of your closing, please reach out to ClearSign support at 844-913-1386.

Step 3: Identity Verification

• You'll be required complete knowledge-based authentication (KBA) – you’ll answer a few personal questions to confirm your identity.

• You’ll be prompted to upload a photo of your ID.

• If  your identification cannot be authenticated, you will need to reschedule the closing with your lender.
  
  

Step 4: Live Video Session

• Once your ID is verified, you’ll connect with a state commissioned online notary via secure audio and video through the secure ClearSign platform.  

• The notary will confirm your identity and go through the signing process where you will esign and date your documents.

Receive Completed Documents

• You’ll get an copy of your completed documents in your Rocket account portal shortly after the closing is finished.
