Remote Online Notarization in Alabama

Alabama authorizes remote online notarizations since 2019.

Alabama allows Remote Ink-Signed Notarization (RIN) under Act 2021-319, effective July 1, 2021. While not "pure" electronic RON, it allows audio-video signing of paper documents. Notaries must be physically in Alabama, and the signer must mail the paper document to the notary.
